The NSA hacked by russian antivirus Kaspersky

According to the Wall Street Journal, the NSA, the US intelligence agency got robbed of numerical spying tools.The hackers have used an antivirus from the russian company Kaspersky Lab to steal confidential documents stored on the personal computer of one of the agency's subcontractor.

The leak allegedly goes back to 2015 but the US authorities reportedly have not been aware of the incident until the spring 2016.

This incident is probably the reason why the US government banned federal agencies from using softwares of the company Kaspersky Lab.
